Meet Shlomi Katz
Hi, I'm Shlomi Katz, a martial artist, father, and founder of Krav & Cub. With over 30 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, I’ve seen how martial arts can strengthen the body, mind, and relationships.
My background includes service in the Israeli Special Forces and leading Krav Maga training at Israel’s Counter-Terror School. But the most meaningful training I’ve ever done has been with my son, Omer. From age three, we connected through martial arts games that helped him grow in confidence, focus, and coordination.
That experience became the foundation for Krav & Cub—a parent-child training program designed to help families build trust, stay active, and grow closer through shared challenge and play. Whether you're here to learn practical self-defense or create meaningful time with your child, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
Meet BETH MUMFORD
Beth holds a Black Belt in Krav Maga, trained under Shlomi Katz of KravZone. She successfully completed KravZone’s Instructor Training Course in 2016 and now serves as an instructor for KravZone, teaching adult, kids and teen classes, Krav & Cub (parent/child) program and also as a private instructor.
As a lifelong athlete, Beth has competed in volleyball, basketball, and as a long distance runner. She discovered her love for Martial Arts in 2012 when she began training at KravZone to gain personal self-defense skills alongside her family.
